For pressure test:
1. Ensure the pressure gauge is rated to line pressure or above.
2. Add Teflon tape or other sealant to the thread on the test gauge.
3. Connect the pressure gauge to the gauge adapter.
4. Remove the cap of the test plug and insert the needle of the gauge adapter into the test plug.
5. Take the reading. Remove the gauge and replace the cap. Do not leave the needle in place for longer than 15 minutes.
Temperature Testing
Simply insert the end of the thermometer into the test plug, take the reading and replace the cap.

Pressure gauges have 2½” dial, brass ¼” npt connection. Thermometers are Taylor, 1 in, dials.
